He oversaw all programmatic activities across all development sectors, including education, health, agriculture, and economic growth. rnrnBefore he joined Microsoft, Zimmermann worked at the American Council on Education’s Office of Higher Education for Development (HED). Zimmermann’s primary goal is to work with academics, researchers, and scientists to foster innovations and advancements in teaching and research that help improve education around the world. In this role, he collaborates with higher education institutions around the world to develop next-generation technologies for education, museums and researchers.
